1. Introduction

2. Terms and Conditions for Buyers

2.1 The Buyer must read the Sellers terms and conditions, and agree with them before purchasing from them.

2.2 The Buyer is purchasing their products from the Seller NOT Jambootan, so must satisfy themselves that they are happy with the Sellers terms and conditions.

2.3 The Buyer should check the Sellers post and packaging costs and any insurance required before they commit to payment.

2.4 The Buyer must read both the Sellers and Jambootans terms and conditions before leaving Jambootan to go to the Paypal site to pay for their product. They are making a commitment to the Seller.

2.5 The Buyer must pay immediately through the Jambootan safe checkout area.

2.6 The Buyer should always keep proof of their payment. This is essential for their own security.

2.7 Contact with the Seller can only be made through Jambootans secure messaging service, using your unique username. Personal email addresses or links are forbidden on the site, unless agreed in writing by Jambootan.

2.8 Once on Jambootan, the Buyer must not offer to do their transaction outside Jambootan, this is unfair, and you leave yourself at risk for potential fraud.

2.9 Buyers must be 18 years and over.

2.10 It is not permitted to give any false information, discontinued telephone numbers or false addresses during registration, or at any time. If you do, it will result in the removal of your account.

3. Sellers Terms and Conditions

3.1 Sellers must have their own set of terms and conditions.

3.2 In the event of a sale, and payment has been received, Sellers must deliver the goods as soon as possible, or within their terms and conditions.

3.3 If you are a Business Seller, you must fill in the correct details in the registration area.

3.4 Business Sellers must have their own returns policy.

3.5 For non - business Sellers, it is advisable to have a returns policy.

3.6 Sellers must inform Buyers of the post and packaging costs, and any relevant insurance costs before the Buyer pays for their product.

3.7 Sellers should always keep proof of postage for their own security.

3.8 Sellers should NEVER post any product unless they have verified that the Buyers payment has been received.

3.9 Any product images or description are totally the Sellers responsibility.

3.10 Sellers must give an honest description of the product that they are selling ( As in accord with the Sale of Goods Act )

3.11 Any misrepresentation by the Seller will result in their removal from the site.

3.12 Contact with the Buyer can only be made through Jambootans secure messaging service, using your unique Jambootan username. Personal email addresses and links are forbidden on the site, unless agreed in writing by Jambootan.

3.13 The Seller must make themselves familiar with any items that are forbidden to sell on the site. This can be found under Jambootan rules in the help section, i.e. weapons of any sort are forbidden.

3.14 Once the Seller has listed their item for sale on Jambootan, and a Buyer wishes to purchase it, the Seller must not offer to do their transaction outside Jambootan. It is unfair, and you leave yourself at risk of potential fraud.

3.15 Sellers must be 18 years old and over.

3.16 It is not permitted to give false information, discontinued telephone numbers or false addresses during registration or at any time. If you do, it will result in the removal of your account.

3.17 Nothing can be listed for under 0.99p, and where fractions of pennies occur, they will be rounded up to the nearest full penny in all transactions.

3.18 Sellers must not sell fakes, replicas or counterfeit items.

3.19 Sellers must not break the law with regard to copyright and trademarks. It is your responsibility to check your items and liabilities.

3.20 Sellers have the choice to list their items as ÔnewÕ or ÔusedÕ, and must list appropriately.

3.21 Any perishable foods must have sufficient information on how it will be safely shipped to the customer.

4. License

4.1 You may print extracts from this website for your own use on the following basis.

4.2 No document or related graphics on this website are modified in any way.
No graphics on this website are used separately from associated text; and
Any of our copyright and trademark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies.
