Quick Selling Guidelines

• Sellers must have their own set of Terms & Conditions.

• In the event of a sale, and payment has been received, Sellers must deliver the goods as soon as possible, or within their terms & conditions.

• If you are a Business Seller, you must fill in the correct details in the registration area.

• Business Sellers must have their own returns policy.

• Sellers must inform the Buyers of the post & Packing costs, and any relevant insurance costs before the Buyer pays for their product.

• Sellers should always keep proof of postage for their own security.

• Sellers should NEVER post any product unless they have verified that the Buyers payment has been received.

• Any product images or description are totally the Sellers responsibility.

• Sellers must give an honest description of the product that they are selling (As in accord with the Sale of Goods Act)

• Any misrepresentation by the Seller will result in their removal from the site.

• Contact with the Buyer can only be made through Jambootan's secure messaging service, using your unique Jambootan username.    Personal emails addresses and links to websites are forbidden on the site.

• Once the Seller has listed their item for sale on Jambootan, and a Buyer wishes to purchase it, the Seller must not offer to do their transaction outside Jambootan. It is unfair, and you leave yourself at risk from potential fraud. 

• If Sellers are unsure about selling a particular product, they can check the RULES to see whether it is forbidden, i.e. weapons of any sort are forbidden.

• Sellers must be 18 years and over.

• It is not permitted to give any false information, discontinued telephone numbers or addresses during registration.  If you do, it will result in the removal of your account.

• Nothing can be listed for under 99p, and where fractions of pennies are concerned, they will be rounded up to the nearest full penny in all transactions.

• Sellers must make sure that their items are authentic, and must not sell replicas, fakes or counterfeit items.

• Sellers must not break the law with regard to copyright and trademarks.  It is your responsibility to check your items and liabilities.

• Sellers have the choice to list their items as 'new' or 'used', and must list appropriately.

• Any perishable foods must have sufficient information on how it will be safely shipped to the customer.
