How to list your Items on Jambootan

It is very easy to list your items with Jambootan and even better, it’s free!

You no longer have to worry about re-listing fees because at Jambootan, we don’t charge you anything unless you sell your item.

So, how do you list your item, well first of all you must have a Jambootan account, so to set up an account please follow the link or go to My Jambootan account.

Once you have your account you need to enter your selling area where you can list, Re-list and manage your items for sale.

You are now in your selling area. If you would like to add an item for sale for the first time then simply click on the
‘add product’ link. However, if you wish to re-list an item or change any information on any of your items for sale then
click on either of the ‘manage your products’ links.

If you choose to add a product for the first time then you will see the following screen.

There are now four easy steps to get your item listed.

When you click continue you will see the following screen.

Section A  -  First of all you need to put your item into a category. For instance, if you were selling a mobile phone then
you would do the following.

You will then be able to choose from a number of sub categories until you reach your desired category, at which point
you will see the following screen that will state that you have reached the end of your category path.

If you feel that you would like to add another category then you can contact Jambootan and ask us to create one for you 
 (for instance if a new product is invented that is not covered by any of the categories on Jambootan.)

You are now at the stage B, where you have selected your category (in the example – Mobile and home phones – Mobile
Phones). You can now add the specifics of your item, which are called  ‘attributes’. The example of the mobile phone
can be seen below.

Once you have selected all of your attributes, you can now go through to section C, which allows you to set up all the
relevant information and pricing specific to your item. The examples below show the detail that you can apply to your
item.

Once you have finished inputting all of the correct information, simply click the ADD PRODUCT INFORMATION button.

Section D is the last section required to complete your item listing. In this section you can list all of the pictures of
your item. Another great benefit for using Jambootan is that it is free to add as many pictures as you like to all items.
Try to be careful not to overload your listing with too many photos as this can slow down the viewing speed of your
listing.

So when you get through to section D, you will see the following screen.

The main product image is the image that people will see when browsing through the Jambootan. They will be able to
see the other pictures when they choose to view your item further.
 
To add your main Picture, simply click on the browse button to select the picture from the files on your computer.
Once you have selected your picture, then simply click the ‘Add Image’ button and this will load your image.
The example of the mobile phone can be seen below.

Once you are happy with your main Picture, you can add further Pictures in exactly the same way as you added your
main picture, but in the section called ‘Other product Images’ below the main Product image section.

For every picture you repeat this procedure;

Click on the browse button to select the picture from the files on your computer. Once you have selected your picture,
then simply click the ‘Add Image’ button and this will load your image.

Once you are happy with your Item Pictures, you can click the   button and this will take you to your Item Listing overview.

The example below shows the screen you will see.

And that’s it! Your item is on Jambootan and ready for purchasing. Please remember that if you are not happy with any of the information that is on your Item Listing, then you can edit all of your information in the manage my products section.
